A Horse for Alex [DVD]
US faith-based drama about a teenage bully who turns her life around at a Christian summer camp. When Alex (AJ Olson) is invited to Camp Harlow for the summer by her classmate Eric (Andrew Dyer) she thinks he finally wants her to be his girlfriend. However, Alex quickly realises she’s arrived at a Christian camp and is in for a long summer.
Refusing to join in with camp activities, Alex is slowly brought around by counsellor Sam (Monique Hurd) and begins to drop her tough facade in favour of adopting the Christian faith. Once her transformation unfolds at Camp Harlow, will Alex be able to maintain her new-found outlook on life when she returns home?
