Adam McKay co-writes and directs this comedy starring Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd. Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) is a top-rated 1970s San Diego anchorman who believes women are welcome in the newsroom, as long as they stick to covering fashion shows or cooking news. When Ron is told he’ll be working with Veronica Corningstone (Applegate), who’s beautiful, ambitious and intelligent, he must come to terms with the fact that he may have met his match.
The cast also includes Steve Carell, David Koechner and Kathryn Hahn.
