You start the game alone after a huge paranormal event has mysteriously left the town of Saint-Exil completely devoid of people.
Surrounded by dangerous phenomena in a dark and lonely place, Elise searches for other human life, and in doing so, starts to unravel the mysteries surrounding the region of Saint-Exil, its ritualistic cult, and the lighthouse overlooking the coast.

- MANAGE YOUR TIME: Unlike other adventure games, moving through the village makes time pass. Resting to recover health also makes time pass. Moving quickly through the town is important because Saint-Exil becomes deadly if you are still outside after dark.
- UNIQUE COMBAT SYSTEM: Fight ghostly enemies with standard or upgraded weapons and ammunition. Elise can dodge and also has a protective amulet, that allows her to repel enemies that get too close.
