Tormented by terrifying visions of murder, pregnant Madison Mitchell (Annabelle Wallis) begins to lose her grip on reality after her abusive husband, Derek (Jake Abel), is attacked by an unknown entity in their own home. As detectives investigate the creature’s gruesome killing spree, Madison begins to believe that the murders may be linked to a repressed traumatic incident from her past.
