The Hardacres [DVD]
All six episodes of the British period drama which follows the exploits of the Hardacre family. In the 1890s, the Hardacres work on the docks at a Yorkshire fishing port but when Sam (Liam McMahon) damages his hand in an accident, the family faces ruin. However, Sam’s wife Mary (Claire Cooper) comes up with a plan that dramatically improves their fortunes.
As they adjust to their new life on a country estate, they must learn to navigate the British class system as they meet their new neighbours.
