The Lion in Winter [Blu-ray]
Anthony Harvey directs this British drama starring Peter O’Toole and Katharine Hepburn. In the south of France in 1183, Henry II (O’Toole) summons his family to a Christmas conference. His sons all have designs on his crown, whilst the presence of the King’s mistress Alais (Jane Merrow) adds spice to his exchanges with his estranged wife, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine (Hepburn).
The cast also includes Timothy Dalton, Anthony Hopkins and Ella More.
