James Ross directs this documentary which chronicles the life and career of former professional football player Jermain Defoe who scored 227 goals for clubs including West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland before retiring in 2022. Ross also explores Defoe’s family relationships and the bond he formed with Bradley Lowery, a Sunderland supporter with neuroblastoma, who died aged just six years old. Interviews with former coaches and teammates are featured.
