Nintendo Amiibo Character – Mega Man (Wii U / Nintendo 3DS)
The main hero from Capcom’s Mega Man series. An advanced humanoid robot created by Dr. Light, Mega Man was modified from a general-purpose lab assistant into a fighting robot. Fitted with a powerful arm cannon and the ability to gain skills from defeated enemies, Mega Man serves to thwart the evil plans of Dr. Wily and protect the peaceful coexistence between robots and mankind.

When an amiibo is placed on the GamePad, that character will be brought into the game. Players can either watch the character battle other characters, battle alongside the character, or battle against the character. The more the amiibo is played, the more it levels up, unlocking different moves, equipment, and customisation options. They will also level up faster when pitted against other amiibo fighters.

amiibo went on sale at the launch of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, with more characters set to be announced in 2015. Characters already announced include Mario, Link, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, and many more!
Connect to a wide range of games
In addition to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you’ll be able to use amiibo in a number of other games, and how they’re used depends on the game. Additional compatible games include Mario Party 10 and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Compatible with Nintendo 3DS and 2DS
As well as working with the Nintendo Wii U, amiibo can also be used with Nintendo 3DS and 2DS consoles via an accessory that is planned for release in 2015. amiibo will also be compatible with the New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL.
