Japanese anime written and directed by Takehiko Inoue which follows the Shohoku High School basketball team. Point guard Ryota Miyagi (voice of Shugo Nakamura) has always loved basketball. Now he and his teammates must prove they belong by facing the team from Sannoh Kogyo High School in a tournament.
Not only does Sannoh have a generational talent in Eiji Sawakita (Shunsuke Takeuchi) but they are considered unbeatable. Can Ryota and his team rise to the challenge?
